Nicole - The Best Thing in My Life....

Nicole left on 29th August 2008.

A car accident in US took her away from me.

She's the one best friend I had, the one person I could always count on, the one who always stood by me and is always there for me.

Not everyone is lucky like me to have found such a friend.

But as much as how Life has been merciful to me to bring her into my life....
Life is Cruel to take her away from me like this...

We promise to keep each other company till we're old and if we're not married, we can even be room mates. She never keep her promise but I cannot bear to be angry with her because she is the Best Thing in My Life...

Island Hopping

A few weekends ago bf and I decide to go visit Kusu Island.

After googling a while and asking around a little bit, we managed to find out where to take the ferry and how much etc. So sat morning, we made our way to Marina South Pier...

It's pretty nice there I must say...

The ferry will first arrive at St John Island and then to Kusu and finally back to Marina South Pier. Prior to this trip, I read it in some stranger's blog that the ferry will stop at St John for 20mins before departing for Kusu island. Big mistake to believe what I read lor....

I went down to take a look around st John island and before 10mins is up, the ferry left the freakin' jetty!! -_-"

So... we were stranded at St John Island for 3 hours before the next ferry comes. To make things worst, there's NOTHING to see there.. okie maybe not really nothing cuz I did manage to Jenny-Peep at this scandalous couple at the lagoon. Wahahaha

Well, I took a short nap there, disturbed some ants and then walked to the lagoon to slack.

It's pretty nice here, not that much sun and very windy
Actually I didnt climb all these rocks for this shot, I just wanted to go closer to see the scandalous couple. But they saw me coming, so they "drift" nearer to the shore lor. hahaha.... I make no attempt to spy on them discreetly btw...

Ah siao came with us too...
Finally the gruesomely boring 3 hours is over....
I can see the approaching ferry!!! Yipee!!

When the ferry arrived at Kusu Island, I didnt want to go down initially for fear I will be left stranded on the island since this is the last ferry for the day. Bf say must go down take a look at least because we came for this ma....

so I go down lor.... but this time they got count the number of ppl going down the island because you are not allowed to stay overnight in Kusu Island.
It's been probably 20 years since I came to Kusu (according to the photos I have on Kusu, seems like I'm around 5yrs old at that time)

Since Kusu is 龟岛 then of course must have 乌龟咯！ They quite cute la but of course cannot compare to my ah turtle la!! But then hor, I would have rather spent 3 hours staring at them than at the scandalous couple at St John... (男的不帅，女的不美...呵呵呵)

Time for some good looking people to occupy some space on my blog...

Yep after that we went for dinner at Esplanade... Thai Express or something like that then went to Harry's to get a quick drink.
