Month of July!!

Okie, I've neglected my blog again...

Been kinda busy....

Anyway...I've juz celebrated my 23rd Birthday!!

This is my Birthday Present from ME!!!
FRIENDS!!! Season 1 to 10!!! haha... Always been a huge fan, but I nevre watched it on tv before... I only watch it for the first time when I was in Uni lor...haha
Havent finish chiong-ing my CSI season 4 lor...

On the eve of my bday, my dad treated the whole family + dear dear dinner at a resturant at Jurong east. there was a wedding dinner going on as well and I actually know the groom! He's a secondary school mate, same age as me...in fact I was in charge of his class when I was a prefect! haha...

Dear dear came to my place in the morning to have breakfast with me on my birthday, then we went out in the afternoon to bugis to shop a while before handing to the NTU alumni club house at buona vista for my school's grad nite dinner.

I bought a dress from mphosis, a pair of heels from DMK and a necklace from Jo's Craft!!! I cannot keep spending like that le...will really eat grass one...


Grass is good for you....haha

The MSE grad nite was pretty fun... there's another ger same birthday as me...same day same year and same course as me le!!!

Then I had my convocation on 28th July!!

Then I was left with two bags and a very late boyfriend...want to cry already lor...everyone got someone, and see ppl got flower got bear bear, I dun have anything...except a pair of seriously painful feet (wearing stupid heels!!)

After a while dear dear came...and I said I wanted a bear bear also...
then he brought me downstairs and let me choose one...

Chose one bear with a flat flat face...haha.... his name is LATE LATE....cuz my bf came late! haha.... got bear bear I feel happier la... took all my photos with it!!

But before I end this entry....

A while back, I bought the "Good Morning" towel....cuz I forgot to bring towel for my sentosa training....


Think it's 3 for $2.50 or something like that

This towel is most commonly seen in hair salon...


They put it around your shoulders when cutting your hair...


they use it to cover your wet hair after washing....

This towel has been there for as long as I can remember...and this was wat my pastor said abt this "Good Morning" towel....
"Fashion come and go.... but Good Morning towel will always be there..."

NUS Invitational

Yesterday was the NUS invitational Lifesaving Championship!!

Wah, never see so many teams before neh....

anyway, this year I'm representing SSTA (Singapore Swimming Teacher Association), STA for short....

Very proud of them.... didnt had much time to prepare for this race but I think they did a GREAT job....

This is my first pair of flippers lor.... it's split fin....suppose to be more gentle on the ankle I think....heehee.... LIKE IT!!!

Orh, for those people who dunno hor.... there are fin-ing events in lifesaving competitions lor.... I not into scuba dive or snorkelling la.... although I did enjoyed the last snorkelling experience at tioman!

1) 200m Obstacle swim
2) 4x100m Obstacle Relay
3) 4x25m Manikin Carry
4) 12m Line Throw VICTIM!!! (Got 1st le)
5) 4x100m Medley Relay
6) 200m Super Lifesaver

very siong le the super lifesaver, was comtemplating not taking part cuz I dunno why I have problem towing manikin now. I was pretty comfortable a while back... guess I too tired lately...needa train more!!!


Love-Hate Relationship!!!

This is the manikin tat we tow in competition....looks light hor.... but it's not lor when it's fully filled with water....it's abt 45kg!!!! goodness!!! imagine me 47kg towing a 45kg with only half a torso?!!!

Anyway, I saw my two penang-trip roomies last year!!!

Nicole is now the NTU lifeguard Vice President liao...then Violet arh... she beauty queen arh.... one of the contestant in Miss Singapore World... see she so fair now...I is jealous!!!

Burnt out or PMS?

Today's like holiday for me.... Took leave to go collect my transcript.

haizzz.... dunno why I woke up feeling alittle miserable, suppose to be my shopping day one....

I feel alittle burnt out.... like so many things going on, I feel overwhelmed and it seems it be straining my relationship as well... I really dunno if it's PMS or it's because I'm really burnt out....

Woke up to sore muscles...I dun remember training that hard, how come my whole body is so sore neh.... -_-"

First competition is coming this sat, I feel that I'm not ready for it.... I hope I wont pull the team down...*cross fingers*

Seriously, now I kinda understand why some working people are like so sian and no sense of humour liao....cuz when you're tired, you are like that....

Jenny needs a pat on her back for encouragement.....

Some Thoughts

Alot of things had happened for the past few weeks....

I'm very disappointed with certain people and the way things are done but I'm already no longer part of it now...

I know I shouldnt be nosy and try to help but because I feelings for it and didnt want to see it go down. I felt betrayed by a person I thought I could trust to take over but things didnt turn out the way I had hope it will be....

Suddenly things became so complicated and it just doesnt feel like I used to be part of them... It pains me to see it this way....

I have given up on it now.... I will not do anything for it or give anymore comments on it. It's truly History...None of it matters now.....


Being in a new environment now, I got to know another group, I felt tat what I have done was being appreciated. Although it had only been a short one week, I already feel like I'm part of them... I'm so glad that in the midst of such disappointment, I see a different side of things in these genuine people.

There's still some people who are worth all the efforts I put in for them...

Lifesaving Training --> Abrasions & Broken Nail

Lifesaving Competition Season is here again!!!

Bruises, Abrasion, Sunburn here I come!

Started training for awhile....spent almost the whole week in pool!
Wah, I'm becoming chlorinated liao lor....haizz

Anyway today I went down to sentosa for training with the RP lifesaving team!!

I'm the oldest in the pic lor....age is catching up...sigh


It's their first beach training!!!

I juz started work and I realise RP has a lifesaving team, I am SO SO SO excited! They are very new and will be competing first time this year.... so glad tat I can be part of this....heehee....
