My Handphone History

Today I went to get a new line.... My M1 contract is ending end of this month!!!

So I'm entitled to get a new phone!!!

At first I wanted to juz continue my old plan with M1 the suntext plan since I sms alot... me and sweetie dun talk on the phone, we express our LOVE thru sms-es....heehee

Then I saw tat the Motorola Razor V3 is selling for only $168 for upgrades loh. So excited leh!!! When I first use M1, I was complaining how expensive my bills were and the bills didnt really show how much I used very clearly....wasnt too happy abt it and I complained and "swear" tat I would change to singtel after my contract ends... so I went to check singtel but couldnt find a plan tat suits me since I need at least 700 sms...

THen I realise tat Singtel is selling tat particular model at $98!!! wah! even plus the sim card and the registration fees, it's only abt $140....

Today I went down with my bro and we were walking around singtel hello shop and M1 shop..... then I finally decided to take up singtel line cuz the student plan was very good, I pay less and get more than wat I'm getting now from M1 plus my bro get to buy the v3 at a good price..... I really hope when apr comes the phone is still available and hopefully cheaper???? heehee

I was digging thru my old file and saw receipts and contracts of my previous lines.... so I decided to trace back my handphone history....heehee


Got my first handphone in JC and it is none other than the popular Nokia 3210!!!
Got a nice cover for it too....copper red!!

It's like everyone is using this phone loh...though it's abit bulky la but I love it cuz the buttons so big, good for fat fingers ppl like.... ME!!!

But very sad.... I lost it on a bus....

So I had to get a new phone....and I then the first phone with a BLUE glow came out!!! I was so excited abt it and bought it at $298!!! Till now this is the most expensive phone tat I've bought can....

My friends said tat it was a downgrade!!! From an 8 series to a 6 series...bleah... but I like it cuz the lcd light fades off slowly one....so nice.... haha....lame reason also la...

in fact I think I got a second line juz to get this phone....so silly.... I got an sms line la...cuz I sms too much!!! My classic plan sms wasnt enough....

then after a while, I decided to try M1 cuz I saw free phone!!! Now I'm a cheapo on phones.... I only want a phone tat can sms and call...tat's it and it's only right tat I dun pay much for my phone rite....haha...

So I got this for free from new signup from M1


My first coloured phone!!! Nokia 3100
It's a simple phone but it's very durable, it's still working now!! 2 years and it's still serving me (now my bro is using it cuz he drowned his phone)...cheap phones are more durable, esp those free one!!

Then abt a year after my plan.... I saw this samsung phone tat I like alot!!! It's the Samsung E630c...

It's more than $100 with plan... Before tat I actually claimed tat I will NEVER spend more than $100 on phone...looks tat I have to eat back those words...bleah

Well... people change.... what can i say....haha

I still like it alot... but I dun mind getting another phone and have two other phones as backup?? heehee....I know what a pain in the ass it is when your phone spoil and you are not allowed to upgrade your phone with no other backup phone... Phones are ridiculously expensive without plan (I'm a student with no income loh)

Actually I realise I still dunno all the functions of my samsung phone yet... lazy to read manuals....actually I dun believe in reading manuals...I prefer hands on...haha... probably the reason why I so itchy hands ...

On Rain and Love....

It's been raining non stop lately...




here I am sitting in front of my comp, wrapped in my smelly blanket and wearing my stitch slippers.... I cant believe I have to leave for school soon... I dun want!!

It's bad enough to have to leave your house in such a weather.... what can be worse than that??

TRAINING in this weather!!!

It was freezing cold in the pool and it wasnt much better for the runs on the track... sometimes it's so cold that my fingers are numb....

but slowly the body temperature will catch up after abit of the workout...

Finally, I'm able to finish my workout...though I had to struggle alittle but I'm glad I've pulled through for the past few training sessions...

It's discouraging sometimes to be always the last to come back, but I have to remind myself that I'm racing against myself...improving is beating my own self.


Anyway, I'm starting on the book "The Five Love Languages" by Gary Chapman

Bought it quite a while back but never get down to read it....read alittle yesterday on my way to NUS, interesting...

Looking at the content page for wat the 5 basic love languages are, I have agree that whatever is needed in a relationship stems from those.

Love Language #1 : Words of Affirmation
Love Language #2 : Quality Time
Love Language #3 : Receiving Gifts
Love Language #4 : Acts of Service
Love Language #5 : Physical Touch

I'm only done reading the first language so far...affirmation words are notjuz compliments but also encouraging words, kind words, humble words etc...

I like what the author wrote in his introductory chapters
"I need to be loved by someone who choose to love me, who sees in me something worth loving."

okie, will share more when I finish the book ba.... gotta somehow get my butt of out this house....

Remember this.... Being Happy is a CHOICE!!! Dun wait for something good to happen to be happy....Be HAPPY NOW!!!

Been busy lately... though my timetable this month is not as packed (one of my modules is starting only in feb and I've decided not to take my GE this sem, taking during special sem with jojo they all) I still feel tat I dun have time...

It's training and fyp ba...

Suddenly I realise I'm not as happy as I used to be...

Sighz....

When you are sad, down, stress, depress.... the list goes on and on... your face shows it you know.... pimples come out anywhere and everywhere... EWWwwww.... pimples! My SWORN enemies!!! I curse THEM ALL in Jesus' Name! (i'm not trying to be funny k.... pastor told us to curse all the pimples okie!)

Then while I was browsing thru some of the articles I have in my comp, I came across this article "Your Happiness is Your Decision" from an online magz "Word of Faith" published by the Kenneth Hagin Ministeries.

I've heard pastor preached about this too... I think I took happiness for granted. I realised I have been worrying too much and getting unhappy over too many things... the famous murphy law says that "anything that can go wrong will go wrong", it's sad but true to some extent...what matters is how much I'm going to allow it to affect me and stop me from being happy?

Once you're not careful, anything can rob you of being happy...

Psalm 118:24 says
"This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it"

I must learn to live my days as happy as I CAN!!! heehee....

Anyway, I have this little book call "The Blue Day Book". It's a pictorial that teach us how to cheer us up... I bought it for friends cuz I thought it was such a good book... someone bought one for me too cuz I like it so much but just didnt get one for myself...

So I thought I'll juz share it here and cheer you ppl up.... ^_^

New year's eve, went over to sweetie's place then we went to IMM to jalan then go West mall and then to my house...

Sweetie fed my two turtles and I fed the fishes...then it's tv time...

Orh... abt my black toe, I've decided to paint my toe nails... Since I dun paint them at all, I dun own any nail polish loh... so I went and see wat nail polish my mum has... she's got two only so chose wat nice brown red but it wasnt dark enough to cover up my black toe....

So I decided black colour should do the trick....

It's not easy painting nails at all!! The white ones are done by sweetie
Sweetie one so messy hor....tsk tsk tsk.... actually mine is also very messy but I got do some touchup...heehee

Been shopping alittle the past few weeks.... really broke...but never mind sch's starting so I wont be able to shop anymore...

Time to save up and after I pia finish my FYP, I shall treat myself to yet another SHOPPING Spree and I've decided tat my clothes shopping spree shall not include my sweetie....(he will be VERY VERY VERY happy to hear this...rite?) Clothes shopping should only be done with the gers... nicole, vanessa, jojo makes good shopping kakis!

But shopping with dear dear is good cuz I got a cute shopping carrier loh... bleah...
